The Unwavering Mind

Whether I think thoughts 
or thoughts arise,
I can't help but deny 
the premise 
that they are mine.

And in the blink of an eye,
We live and we die.

With this idea 
of time,
We become lost 
in our minds,
Lost in this idea of "I."
