The Game

We learn to live in lack
We convince ourselves that more is better
We forget to realize that more will never be enough
We run in circles tirelessly searching for something that we can never truly find
We leave behind the child that could be amazed by a single blade of grass
We're taught to "accept reality"
We adopt an an autopilot way of life
We do so much because we feel "we have to"
We jump from one thing to the next, one conclusion to another
We pretend to know
We almost never pause
We almost never question
We almost never stop to think for ourselves
We almost never honestly ask "why?"
